We stopped at the location in Division and I ordered the “Raspberry mojito french toast” — absolutely addicting. Eating here was one of those experiences where everyone stops talking for about ten minutes because the food is that good. For the relatively informal setting, I was super surprised by the range and depth of flavors and quality of the menu. We tried the traditional hummus plate, Greek fries, charred broccoli and lentils, spiced lamb and wild shrimp. It is a giant floor to ceiling display that is constantly morphing and evolving. The chocolate here is cheap and decadent, and seeing as chocolate is one of my favorite foods I thoroughly enjoyed this part of the trip. I tried mousse filled chocolates, raspberry, dark chocolate, caramel, milk, and much more. Stepping inside the dim light of the church and feeling the hush and soft glow of the candles felt like traveling into a world completely removed from the buzz and rush of the city outside. It was very special to spend a couple minutes sitting in the chapel in the quiet reverence. The East Shore trail is perfect in any season and offers amazing views of the North part of the Lake. During the summer season kayak and paddleboard rentals are especially expensive. This was one of my favorite places that we visited on the trip. There is an entrance fee of $10 per vehicle. If you want to avoid paying that, there is limited parking available on the side of the road.
